Toast, a US restaurant management platform, announced that they are going to expand their operations in the Irish region. They are planning to add 120 new jobs at its new Dublin office where the company’s first international technology and product development center is located.
Toast is now facilitating 40 employees in different roles, including engineering, development, and support, after coming to Dublin in 2017.
The company is looking for recruits to work in areas including data analytics, software engineering, software development, and product designing, said by a Toast official. IDA, Ireland is supporting the company.
The senior vice president of engineering at Toast, Hugh Scandrett, said that. “Dublin is known as a technology hub in Europe, which makes it the right location for the company’s investment in its new office.”
Heather Humphreys, the Minister of Business, Enterprise and Innovation said Toast’s expansion shows that “We continue to have the right talent and skills available to enable exciting companies to grow and further embed their operations in Ireland.”
The Toast, which was founded in the year 2011, was launched later in 2013. It empowers restaurants in making their operations smooth and helps them generate considerably more revenue. Toast manages all of this by offering a technology platform which combines the restaurant’s front of the house, guest-facing technology, point of sale, and back of the house.
Toast officials are cheering for their upcoming plan of creating 120 job opportunities in Dublin.
