Russia Blames United States about tanker incident in Gulf waters

The foreign ministry of Russia blamed the United States for increasing tensions with Iran after Britain officials said that Iranian ships had tried block the way of a British oil tanker in Gulf waters.

However, officials from Britain said that three Iranian boats attempted to impede the passage of a British oil tanker known as British Heritage owned by BP, an energy giant in Great Britain.
